Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Fayetteville, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Fayetteville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fayetteville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

As an Atlanta transplant who grew up on really good Chinese takeout, Iβve spent almost a decade in NC searching for a spot that is even semi-decent. Honestly, I donβt know what the 2-star reviewers on here are eating, but if youβve found somewhere remotely as good as this place, please share the wealth! Until then, this is absolutely my new go-to. What makes this place so great is the variety. They have an awesome mix of traditional Chinese, Americanized classics, and even Korean-Chinese dishes. We decided to test the waters and ordered a wide assortment: Mongolian Beef, General Tso's, Singapore Chow Mei Fun, Korean-Chinese Jjamppong (spicy seafood soup), and Black Bean Noodles. Every single dish hit the mark. The food is flavorful, tastes super clean, and actually has that perfect, smoky wok hei flavor you look for in good takeout. They give you really generous portions for the price, too. While it might not be the absolute best I've had in my entire life, it is easily one of the best places Iβve eaten at in North Carolina. Beyond the food, the staff is super friendly and the location is spotless. You know the old joke that the cleaner the Chinese restaurant, the less flavorful

Fortune Cookie β Fayetteville, NC Ordering was easy and the service was fast, and I really appreciated the 100 sanitation score. Overall, the food had good flavor, especially the fried rice, which honestly carried the dish. However, the portion quality was a bit disappointing. The egg roll left much to be desired. It was about the size of a pack of duck sauce. While the taste was decent, the excessive layers made it difficult to bite into and took away from the usual crispy, flaky texture. Although there was an abundance of rice, the main entrΓ©e felt lacking. The sesame chicken came without sesame seedsβnot a big dealβbut it had more of a sweet-and-sour flavor than traditional sesame chicken, with a red sauce instead of the brown sauce Iβm used to. Many of the chicken pieces had hard spots and were tough to chew, with more inedible pieces than enjoyable ones. The sauce itself wasnβt bad, just different. Overall, everything tasted just okay, but I was expecting a more balanced and higher-quality entrΓ©e.

This was my first time here. I met my uncle from San Diego and my two cousins here for dinner. It was our first time here. We were very impressed by the food and portions. We ordered four meals and shared them among us. Everything was delicious, including the sweet tea. We had Sesame chicken with white rice, noodles with chicken and no vegetables, Mongolian Beef with fried rice, Roast Pork with broccoli and fried rice. The egg rolls were perfect and so was the wonton soup. I'm a local and recently started hearing about this place from Facebook. Everything that we had was amazing! We are a Filipino family who greatly recommends Fortune Cookie Asian Restaurant. A bonus was their 100% sanitation score.

I was searching for a place to call ahead to order a quick lunch, establishment popped up on my search so I thought I'd give it a try. I view the menu online then I called my order in over the phone, the associate was very nice, and patient while taking my order and stated to allow 15 minutes. Upon arriving to the establishment I was able to park up front. I wasn't sure what to expect since it was at lunch time hours. Upon entering, the establishment was very clean, I did not get a chance to check the bathroom as I was in and out. Nonetheless, I was surprised not to see many people inside considering the lunch hour and the cars outside. I noticed a buffet area but they said they didn't offer buffet currently but it was coming in the future. They did not provide a specific timeline. My order was ready when I got there. Checking out was quick and easy. Prices are on par for the area and the cuisine. It appears to be a good place to pop in for lunch even if you want to sit down. I returned home, the food was hot, and the order was correct. I enjoyed my meal and I plan to return in the future.

I would consider this both a Korean and Chinese place, menu is quite large and has great lunch prices. Food is very fresh and does not feel re-heated. Sauce needs more depth but still quite tasty.
